A chat-driven ai platform that turns a prompt into a short-form video — no filming, no editing timeline, no code by default. The loop: paste a model key → describe the video in chat → the ai director returns a structured intent → a remotion composition renders live in the browser via @remotion/player → tweak by chat → export mp4 / gif / prores / webm. Stack: next.js 15 + react 19 on the edge, prisma 6 on postgres, trpc 11 for type-safe apis, better-auth, vercel ai gateway (byok — your keys, encrypted with aes-256-gcm), and remotion v4 as the render engine. live preview < 8s p50. final mp4 < 90s p50. Ships with 5 seed templates — scoreboard, top-list, news-ticker, knowledge-card, comparison — and an optional monaco-backed dev mode for the times you want to touch the tsx yourself. Positioned between two extremes: not footage-first like capcut or heygen, not cli-first like raw remotion + lambda. the missing middle for creators who generate or remix data and text instead of filming it. Currently in build. byok vault and chat director are live; render pipeline and artifact panel ship next.
